Brittany's Blurbs...
Wow. This place blew my mind. I seriously walked through the tour looking like a star struck, bumbling idiot. My mouth was literally dragging on the floor. They have thought of everything, and done everything, that someone could want in a workplace. Open space, private workspaces, bright colors, comfortable couches, games, food, alcohol, and even dogs. That’s right, you can bring your dog to work. From one animal lover to the next, this is perhaps the best benefit I could get from a job. Spending the day with my furry friend while earning my paycheck? Sign me up! Okay, moving aside from the fluffy adorableness that roamed this space, if I worked here, I would never leave. But, if I wanted to, they’re alright with that. In fact, they will set you up with a home desk including everything that is available at the office desks. But on the occasion that I did come to the office, I would have many choices of where I’d want to hang out for the day. They have a full functioning, sound proof room, quiet rooms, a wellness room, and of course my own assigned workstation decorated to my likening. It is obvious the space is only a reflection of their values and external benefits they provide. This company cares about their employees. Honestly, I’m still unsure of exactly what this company does (I’m no tech savvy lady) but when I left, I thought to myself, how the heck do I get a job here!?

OMG I loved this place! If I could live here and work here all day, I would! Which I think is totally the point. This space was open concept to the extreme. They offered so many perks - free food, drinks (including alcohol), mints, gum, razors for shaving, and basic hygiene supplies, amazing co-working spaces, a wellness room. Bean bags? Check! Board games? Check! Kegerator (a fridge with a keg)? Check! The people, the workplace policies, benefits, and space were amazing. Definitely the top of my list. They offer 21 days of paid vacation, and after 5 years you get 8 weeks paid sabbatical. They also reimburse you $3,000 for taking your vacation! One of the best things I heard about this place.... the CEO (who is a woman, awesome!) is ALL about transparent pay and equal pay for women! I can't even... this place was the heaven of all workplaces. The clouds parted and I floated into a place called Moz.
Rachel's Ramblings....
MOZ…..What was this?! Danny the Dentist from youtube was playing in my head “ is this real life”? We arrived with welcome greetings. A dog and owner with purple hair was manning the reception area. We signed in on an ipad and my photo was taken and sent up to Josh, our tour guide notifying him of our arrival. We were sat in an open workspace while we waited. Legos were assembled in the shape of a dinosaur. People walked by smiling and walking dogs. When Josh arrived I was at a loss for words. This didn’t seem like a workplace, it was more like a dream. As we walked through the organization, it became clear that MOZ was collaborative, productive, and efficient. MOZ has taken workplace strategy to the next level. Offering a work life balance like no other. Allowing dogs at work, providing food, swag, and heads down space for all types of work. The perks are endless. Perhaps the best is the a vacation package of 2 weeks and a $3k stipend! I was sold. This organization practices what they preach, offering TAGFE. Needless to say I will be looking for job openings.
